My bus was at 2:20pm from New York to State College, PA. I got there early at 2:00pm and they started boarding shortly after I arrived.
I had one regular sized luggage and one carry-on bag, and my friend had one regular luggage and a backpack. Megabus staff said to go to the different line (there were 5 people in the line) because we had additional bag. We were ready to pay $25 for additional bag, and kept waiting for him to take care of us. We waited about 30 minutes there for all the other passengers to get on the bus and the bus had no room for our luggages anymore.
And the bus just left without us (almost 7 people). The staff (his name was Noman or something like that) said he can't do anything and he left. WTF? Where are all the responsibilities have gone?
It was raining and we (who got left) had to make a plan. We just uber-ed to State College paying $500.
Thank you for such an amazing experience Megabus. Way to go.
