Workers in the office that does not care

So I book the wrong date call to reschedule date supervisor said no I lost my money , booked new ticket with right date then 30 minutes before travel time email came in that original bus changed however went got on the bus 39 mins into the trip the A/C leaking to the front of the bus the driver and mechanic stop for a while to fix the problem otherwise we would have to wait for new bus, however the bus was able to continue an hour and a half the A/C water came down on me in my seat wet the whole of me up I had to move to another seat, I spoke to the driver at the end of the ride on Monday morning he said he would let them know, this is my experience yet you be difficult to change my booking date

RIDE FROM ***

I had the trip from *** going both ways. Everytime I go to Washington DC it is always some issues. This last trip I took was the last draw. Y'all should higher better drivers, y'all should let your customers know that the bus drivers would be making 2 to 3 stops at a time and changing drivers. I dont remember mega bus doing that. It took me 6 hours to get home. I WILL NEVER TAKE MEGA BUS AGAIN. I TRULY DID NOT FEEL SAFE ON THE BUS I WAS ON.

R-O-F-L. Decided laughter instead of an adult shit-fit.

My Megabus WiFi experience is like the lot of you. Nonexistent. The bus driver almost laughed in my face when I asked him, “I just connect to the Megabus website and I’ll have it?” He says “h’yeah.. xD”. We called Customer service, and that particular B said, “well we don’t guarantee WiFi- if you have it, you have it.” So! The “free WiFi” feature offered with your ticket is technically a toss-up. Yay for shiesty company semantics.

Frustrated

I already had a long night/morning st the airport. This was my first time booking mega bus for one I was unaware that they just pick you up on a random street. I was waiting out there for hours and then the bus didn’t even come at the scheduled time. Also during the trip the drivers did not stop for about 9 hours to let people grab a bite to eat or go use the restroom if needed. I also thought that mega bus was supposed to be more inexpensive than other companies but it wasn’t.

Very Unhappy with the customer service rep that served me she didnt take her time to help me she was rushing me off the phone before I was complete and satisfied I did'nt appreciate that and I told her that is not the way you handle customers

Poor service

My scheduled trip was over 4 hours late. I arrived a day late because of the delays. I called the customer service number and they were very rude and unwilling to help. No one asked any details about my trip to verify my request they just rushed me off the phone.

No customer service

Customers being treated by Megabus in NYC tonight. All buses late. Nobody from Megabus helping people. Yelling at people. Ive used Megabus many times friom NYC but this is my last trip. Disgusting.

Driver left bus at a rest stop

On a drive from Newark to DC the driver was 1 hour late. After driving half the way there he said his shift was over and pulled over at a rest stop with a bus full of people and got picked up by a car. Ended up arriving over 3 hours late by time we got a new driver and finished the drive. Needless to say I missed the next leg of my journey which left 2 hours after our planned arrival (as recommended by Megabus). Unexpectedly had to spend the night in DC and pay again for transit to Durham.

Megabus is going to be 2 hrs late

I have a 1515pm bus to chicago with a 2145pm bus to st. Paul. There is 1.25 hrs inbetween connecting buses. Megabus sent email saying first bus is going to be 2 hours late thus causing me to miss my next bus. I called before boarding first bus to see if could change second bus to later one because of their shoddily maintained mechanical bus breakdown only to be told that i had to wait until i was stranded at the chicago busstop after i missed the connection before i could even talk about taking preventative steps. What *** representatives. Also megabus hires customer service people with such thick foreign accents that i couldnt understand them. When i asked if i could talk with someone else they hung up on me.

Waste

Took the bus from NYC to DC twice. The first time I got there an hour early but had to pay an additional $5 just to get on the earlier bus even though there were seats. The second time was a disaster. The bus was an hour late to get there and we got caught in the rain and was soaked. The driver wanted us to pull out our phones in the middle of the rain. We had to sit on the bus four 4 1/2 hours soaking wet. My medication got destroyed and now I have to buy more. I will not be using them again and I suggest you find another bus.

Bus left early, bus company says GPS shows it left on time

July 8th 2019, Arrived at 11th/34 to get on the 6:50 Mega Bus to Philadelphia. After I presented my ticket to one of the helpers, he said the bus left. Talked with a Customer service explaining what occurred. He had me waiting for 30 minutes and said the bus left on time. An aggressive manager, tried to explain in broken English and again talked about the GPS. Final, outcome he wasn't giving me a credit. It seems all of these Mega Bus rep are reading from the same scripts. Keep the customers waiting for 30 minutes or more and then come up with the same "lines" At least with Peter Pan, or Greyhound, they will make sure you place on another bus, or give you a credit for your next trip. Not Mega Bus. This company is greedy for the dollars. People, please try to stay away from using Mega Bus company, unless you don't mind wasting your time, money and being talked to in a hostile manner. I will never use this company again.
