I recently made a return trip on Megabus from Toronto on August 28 , 2019 returning from Buffalo August 30.I arrived at the Buffalo bus station 40 minutes early for my 11:10 AM bus back to Toronto. I located the area that Megabus departs from and waited for my bus as Coach USA and Coach Canada came and went, but none of the distinctive Megabus coaches arrived. It seemed as though it must be late so I asked a Coach Canada driver if he could give me any information; he said he was unable to help , that he was there because they used the same stopping area as Megabus. In retrospect I have no idea why this was his response, but this was in fact his his reply.I'd like to add that I was not alone waiting for this bus, there was a very distressed young woman who told me that because our bus hadnt arrived she would miss an important class.I called the phone number posted on the Megabus sign and was told to hang up , then call back and ask for a supervisor. When I called back I was told to hang up again and call a Canadian Megabus number. When I called that number I spoke to very unhelpful rude woman who said that my bus had come and gone, that I was supposed to have boarded a Coach Canada bus. I want to state that I had absolutely no reason to believe I should board anything other than a Megabus coach. I had booked exclusively with Megabus and no other line, and there was no reason I would know they are owned (it seems) by the same company.The woman on the phone said I should have known to board the Coach Canada bus (why would I know to do so?!?). She also claimed that the website clearly states that service may be provided by Coach Canada, a claim that is absolutely false.When I told her of my interaction with the Coach Canada driver (I can't say with certainty that his was the bus I was expected to board) her response was that "it doesn't make sense" , her clear implication was that I fabricated the story. She then told me that it was my responsibility to purchase another ticket, having no other no other choice, I did so at a cost of $29.67 CDN and had to wait many hours for the evening bus.I live on a limited fixed income so this is a significant amount for me, but it is also the principle involved that is important.I believe this is unquestionably poor service and I am offended that anyone would be treated this way by your company.
I purchased a megabus ticket for my son for Sun. Aug 13th from Columbia Sc to Washington Dc and another from Washington D.C. to Balt.Md to arrive in Md on Mon. The 14th. I forwarded him the reservation number to his phone. I googled directions to Megabus in Columbia sc and drove to the address listed which was Sumter st. We arrived at 2 am. Bus was leave at 3. The building was well lit but the doors were locked. A man walking by told us megabus had moved. By then it was 10 after. 2. I called Megabus but a recording kept saying hold on for next agent but no one picked up. We found another person who told us it was at Greyhound station. I GPS that and arrived at 3:03 and nothing was there. It was closed. I got a motel room and called megabus in the morning and was told that they had moved from that address a month earlier and was located on broad river st. They said yes, if you Google megabus in sc, it would probably give the old address but if you had gone to your email, you would have seen the new address. I said it would not have occurred to me to check my email. I had the confirmation number from your site once I paid. I ended up having to pay another $85 approx. for the total trip plus a motel room to stay in Columbia for the next daily bus.I feel that some consideration should be given to me. I should be able to GPS where you are, not where you were.

In May 2019 I was is NYC going to Rochester NY. I am first on line when a family of 4 arrives with 10 suitcases, disrupts the whole line.

The driver or whoever that person was said they couldn’t have that many bags but then said $20 a bag and led them over to the bus. When I tried to get him to check me in he was too involved with these people. Finally I got on the bus but that person was bad and rude. I wonder who pocketed the money for all those bags.

Then when the bus arrived in Rochester all the bags had been thrown everywhere and people were trying to grab there’s and some bags couldn’t be found right away. People were yelling at each other and I thought a fight would break out.

I did t have a bag so I got away from the chaos. That being said the guy should have let you bring that bag but you were only supposed to bring one but that guy was really an ***

I really would put a monetary value on this because perhaps this would gain a little more attention from them. I would recommend that you ask for a refund of the price that you paid for your ticket(s).

On sept 9 the bus from rensellear station Albany 2:00 pm bus never arrived I was kept being told over and over to wait until 4:30 when I had to go to greyhound to put my son back on a bus to NY. I continue being told by your representatives that they see nothing when I made over 20 calls that day which I am having my phone company provide proof of this. Disgusting isn't going to get you anywhere.

You need to prove damage. Personal or property.

They only contracted to transport you from Point A to Point B.

Done.

What a horrendous trip !

I read your first complaint about the bullies, too.

I don't much care for driving as I have inner ear issues but anything sounds better than riding home in a toilet. I've seem limos with hottubs but nothing like this.
