My extremely poor service from Megabus

I recently made a return trip on Megabus from Toronto on August 28 , 2019 returning from Buffalo August 30. I arrived at the Buffalo bus station 40 minutes early for my 11:10 AM bus back to Toronto. I located the area that Megabus departs from and waited for my bus as Coach USA and Coach Canada came and went, but none of the distinctive Megabus coaches arrived. It seemed as though it must be late so I asked a Coach Canada driver if he could give me any information; he said he was unable to help , that he was there because they used the same stopping area as Megabus. In retrospect I have no idea why this was his response, but this was in fact his his reply. I'd like to add that I was not alone waiting for this bus, there was a very distressed young woman who told me that because our bus hadnt arrived she would miss an important class. I called the phone number posted on the Megabus sign and was told to hang up , then call back and ask for a supervisor. When I called back I was told to hang up again and call a Canadian Megabus number. When I called that number I spoke to very unhelpful rude woman who said that my bus had come and gone, that I was supposed to have boarded a Coach Canada bus. I want to state that I had absolutely no reason to believe I should board anything other than a Megabus coach. I had booked exclusively with Megabus and no other line, and there was no reason I would know they are owned (it seems) by the same company. The woman on the phone said I should have known to board the Coach Canada bus (why would I know to do so?!?). She also claimed that the website clearly states that service may be provided by Coach Canada, a claim that is absolutely false. When I told her of my interaction with the Coach Canada driver (I can't say with certainty that his was the bus I was expected to board) her response was that "it doesn't make sense" , her clear implication was that I fabricated the story. She then told me that it was my responsibility to purchase another ticket, having no other no other choice, I did so at a cost of $29.67 CDN and had to wait many hours for the evening bus. I live on a limited fixed income so this is a significant amount for me, but it is also the principle involved that is important. I believe this is unquestionably poor service and I am offended that anyone would be treated this way by your company.

In May 2019 I was is NYC going to Rochester NY. I am first on line when a family of 4 arrives with 10 suitcases, disrupts the whole line.

The driver or whoever that person was said they couldn’t have that many bags but then said $20 a bag and led them over to the bus. When I tried to get him to check me in he was too involved with these people. Finally I got on the bus but that person was bad and rude. I wonder who pocketed the money for all those bags.

Then when the bus arrived in Rochester all the bags had been thrown everywhere and people were trying to grab there’s and some bags couldn’t be found right away. People were yelling at each other and I thought a fight would break out.

I did t have a bag so I got away from the chaos. That being said the guy should have let you bring that bag but you were only supposed to bring one but that guy was really an ***

Trying to see how I can get from Atlanta ga to Chicago IL or st Louis

That the bus is not going from Atlanta to st Louis or Chicago or coming back from them places trying to make some trips I like riding the Megabus and trying to show my girlfriend how exciting it is to ride the mega bus but I can't cause it don't go where I'm trying to go so hopefully y'all start back soon

Bus broke down need a refund

I need to know when I will be receiving a refund we were on the side of the road for like 3-4 hours before another bus got there this is not right.

If you want a refund you should not have gotten on the bus when it finally arrived. You should have walked.

Missed my bus because Megabus doesn't properly tell you where the terminal is located.

Never Again! Ok, the Megabus from Toronto is difficult to find. Megabus gives you a different address on your ticket to the address on the website and I could find signage to indicate its new Toronto Terminal. Plus the address on the ticket is not precise. Uber doesn't know where it is. Toronto police don't know where it is. So, I missed my bus to Grimsby but grabbed a Go Train instead. Long live Go Transit! Megabus get your act together!!! And don't have customer service tell clients they can't get a refund because they consulted their ticket instead of the website map for the address. As of today, you still have the old Greyhound terminal as the Toronto terminal location on your Megabus website!! @megabus

I want Megabus to provide a proper street address for the Toronto terminal to customers on their tickets and to update its website to give the same proper street address.

Need assistance

I never could pull the page up for buss fees or the time in which a bus leave from chicago with that been said i prefer to fly easy excess to common information for travelers

I got the wrong luggage tonight from nyc to Baltimore on the 6pm bus.

I have the wrong suitcase I need to get my suitcase and give whoever suitcase I have back to them from the 6 oclock bus leaving NYC to Baltimore Maryland

My bus is late where is it

AngryBullshitMy bus did not come I booked an 11:59pm bus, and it did not come at all me and my 9-year-old daughter was waiting 2 and half hours for the bus at south station, and it never came I was calling customer service all night but no answer it was me and other people waiting for the bus it looked like it was going to be a packed bus, but a lot of people started leaving when they saw the bus was not coming I called customer service the next Morning they answer but were so rude and ghetto and disgusting.

Lost suitcase in Austin.. contacted company and lady .. found her suitcase.. attempted to contact her with no success.. megabus no help

It sucked nobody is able to help us. We have the information for the customer who has our luggage, all they have to do is call the customer to let them know they have our luggage and we have theirs. Very easy... but nope nothing

Your staff stole my money

I should have received a call saying my schedule trip was cancelled instead of just an email. I missed my opening to change my trip. I'm disappointed!!! You all phone say you open from 6:30 am to 1:30 p.m. than hang up. If this issue is not resolve I will never take a trip with this bus service again.

Redemption codes

Giving me stupid redemption codes that can only be used ONE at a time when I paid for the the original ticket and you were the ones that canceled the bus. I know how about refunding us !!!
