My sons megabus has been stranded on the side of the 401 for over 2 hrs
Not resolved.
My son is stranded in Couburg On for over 2 hours now due to an issue in the megabus that hes traveling. Bus is stranded on the the 401.

Megabus from Philly to Baltimore didn't show up after over 3 hours, and there was no tracking information available. I called customer service, who said the bus arrived at 9 PM, which is a total lie. They refused to refund or credit my fare.

The bus never showed up where my location was at I have booked the ticket early this morning for $80 around trip from San Antonio to Houston Texas I made it at 7:00 and it showed on my location the flex bus and I don't know about that and it took my money and tell me at crossroads so what can I do my cousin is sick and I was trying to get there I even try to call customer service of the Megabus that took my payment but it's closed and I also had a witness at crossroad park and ride the bus driver he sits right there and sit there for 2 hours so he said he didn't see nobody drive up no bus no nothing unless they don't come here no more I don't know what's going on cuz I ain't going to bust in a while I'm just trying to get to my cousin they will just texting me from 7:00 to 10:00 to get there and I was feeling left please help me

Our tickets tell us to go into the Port Authority NYC bus station. They told us to go one block more.
Got into that station and when we go to that station she told us to go dorm two floors (it was only 1) and every gate to every city state was there but Pittsburgh. We went back upstairs and outside turned down the alley and absolutely no signage that indicates we are in anyplace but a line to go to the Newark airport. My daughter went back inside for additions instructions while I waited on the street. Fortunately I ran into one passengers who took the bus last week photo attached and assured me we were in the correct place to wait.
You really need signage and I for provided to the information booth of port authority or better yet a gate with the rest of the Peter Pan destinations. Thanks Antoinette Grady 412889****

The bus did not arrive at State College on Feb 21, 2025, at 7:20 PM departure time, and there was no communication about delays. Customer service is not answering calls either.

They never contacted me
I immediately tried to call both Megabus and Peter Pan, but neither answered my phone calls. I then emailed both customer services because the link in the email was not directing me to the page to reschedule. When I finally found a link on Peter Pan's website to switch, I had to pay an extra $40 to get on a bus closest to our original reservation. We were going up for my daughter's first fitting at Kleinfelds.
We had a hotel reservation and needed to get to NYC as originally planned. The Megabus reservation I made had us seated together (three of us) with an upgraded price - when we had to switch, we were not guaranteed a seat together. Then, when I received an email about my switched reservation, I was informed for the first time that we could not leave our car on the White Marsh parking lot overnight.
The park-n-ride station was closed; hence, I had to figure out how we were going to manage that. The whole experience was unsatisfactory and we will never take a bus to NYC again.

Inaccurate instructions for bus pick up
The pickup instructions for the Pittsburgh bus should specifically state to pick up bus in the transportation center. Two different instructions exist when reading through the instructions.
First one reads across the street from Transportation center. Next paragraph reads under the portico of the David E.
Lawrence Convention Center. I almost missed the bus due to these inaccurate instructions.

I don’t know what’s going on just know I was robbed by Megabus and its employees. I asked to be reimbursed and to this day I haven’t heard anything. I just want to be treated right get my money back.
Dont be surprise if this is actually a drug and gun running operation that certainly how they act very secretive and with the employees trying to scam people out of money I wouldnt put it fast and they definitely scammed me out of mine and I want my money back. As for right now, this is the worst service you could ever take as a 68 year old senior I was treated harshly and aggressively when asking for my money they actually act like they wanted to jump me.

Verified Buyer |Misleading Information on Reservation Website
I purchased a ticket on Megabus to go from Union Station in Washington, DC to Warrenton, Virginia on June 26. The confirmation message that popped up on their website when I completed the purchase informed me that their buses boarded at bays 49-52 at Union Station.
I waited with several others who had gotten the same information and no bus arrived. We eventually reached Megabus by phone and learned that the bus had already departed from a different bay. They have declined to provide a full refund and would only allow a partial credit toward a trip on another day. When I asked for waiver of the "service fee" portion since they had created the problem, they gave me an email address that turned out to be a non-working email.
They claimed that a pdf that was attached to the email listed the correct bus bays, but nothing in the email noted that a pdf was attached or that there was any important information in it. The representatives clearly recognized their company's responsibility for creating the confusion, but resisted every request for a refund or a full replacement for the ticket.
User's recommendation: Avoid Megabus if possible. If you have no other option, don't trust any information they send you without calling them to confirm its accuracy.
Dispute in reservation price and actually charge
I had booked newyork trip from Baltimore to New York on July 7th 2024 for 3 guests for special sale price which was $26.97. The reservation number 2/4-28**-******-M21R-1149-BAL-NEW after close to the travel date which was 29th sep, 2024 found out regarding about Peterpan ,they rebook us under reservation number PPB-872*-******* and charged us 104.97 .
If at all they sent any information which was not clearly understandable. This is our concern they have to give us the same price which we paid for our original booking.

Verified BuyerOur bus broke down in Baltimore and they did not provide an ETA on the arrival of the next bus! I had to call an Uber to avoid missing our reservations! The Uber was $280.00!
I am respectfully requesting a refund for my purchase! The driver was unable to provide an ETA of the next bus! Additionally, my family and I were waiting outside with no water or toilet facilities
