I took Megabus from Buffalo airport to Toronto Canada, flying in from Florida for a wedding. When the bus arrived I along with two Canadians was told we were at the wrong stop but was allowed to board.
On arriving at the St Catherine’s stop four passengers attempted to board, there was only one seat available, at this point the driver approached the three passengers he had allowed to board and demanded that we disembark the bus, the time is now 11:37 pm.
The stop was deserted, the only activity was out of service buses coming in for the night.
The two young ladies took an UBER.
At a cost of $190. (They lived in Canada)
I Was unable to use my phone to get an UBER, nor did I’m have enough cash for a taxi. I had to then call my friend to come pick me up, he lived in Toronto about two hours away. Needless to say I was alone and very scared especially since I did not know the area as well as it was now pass midnight.
I spoke to mega bus customer service who transferred me to the complaint department but ok course no one answered the phone.
