On the evening of April 30th, I purchased a MegaBus ticket from Philadelphia to
New York . Unfortunately, I
purchased the wrong ticket, assuming that this was a bus from New York back
to Philadelphia. Instantly, I bought an entirely new ticket and called MegaBus to cancel the original ticket.
MegaBus did not accommodate my request so I emailed the customer service. I was promised a response in 3-5 days but did not receive a response until 2 months later stating, "Megabus.com reservations cannot be cancelled or refunded. Megabus.com is not
responsible for delays or cancellations caused by traffic, road conditions,
weather or other causes over which it has no control."
I am always a loyal customer to MegaBus and always appreciate its cost-efficient and safe travels. However, I would like the first ticket reservation to be refunded. The total amount was $16.50 after taxes. I refuse to continue using MegaBus if my ticket is not refunded, as many of my peers have also denied MegaBus after continuous disappointments.
