I was waiting at the R17 Park and Ride in New Jersey in the pouring rain. I've boarded Megabus in many different weather conditions and never had any issues.
Usually they pull up - hop out and stow your bags.
In this case the bus pulled up, waited a minute with the door closed, then drove quickly away. The doors never opened and the driver never came out to check if anyone huddled under the shelter needed to board.
Thankfully I was able to hitch a ride with a passing greyhound bus despite not having a printed ticket. I have been a loyal Megabus customer for years at this point.
I've never encountered anything like this... I think the right thing here is for Megabus to refund the cost of the emergency greyhound ticket ($31.50).
