I booked a bus to go from Jacksonville to Orlando. I planned for the bus to arrive over 3 hours prior to my plane departure. The morning of the trip I received an email saying the bus was likely to be 60 - 90 minutes late in arriving. I called customer service but the recording said the call volume was too high and to call later. I was concerned but thought I could still make my flight even with a 90 minute delay.

When I got to the bus station there was no bus and I received another email message saying "At the present time we are not able to forecast a departure time for this bus. Please call xxx -xxx-xxxx. I called and was told the line was too busy and was disconnected. Because I had a plane to catch and no idea if the bus was running or would get me there on time I had no choice so I rented a car.

When I got home and attempted to contact customer service for a refund I was offered a bus ticket.

I don't live in an area serviced by Megabus. And why would I follow up one unreliable trip with another attempt?

This is complete disregard for any customer satisfaction or service. I have repeatedly attempted to speak to a supervisor and been told they were sorry for the inconvenience but no.

This company should NEVER be patronized and should be investigated by the various State Attorney Generals in the US.

Extremely poor experience and FRAUD in my opinion

Reviewer is in unhappy mood. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss poor customer service of megabus bus service. Megabus needs to read this review and look into the issue (if any) according to poster's claims.
