Refund because no seats were available when bus arrived.

i purchase three ticket for a weekend get away for myself and two kids. when the mega bus arrived the horrible feeling and embrassement i felt no words could describe no seats were available. unfortunely my self and kids had to go back home mind you the gas getting to the mega bus,the purchase of tickets,the food packed for the trip was a waste and my family weekend getting way was ruin. i contact the website which was totally differ from the site were i purchase the tickets, after this company responded to my request i was told there will be no refund you will get more tickets at a later date.who in there wright mind would trust this company again.

Mega bus worker robbed me of $60.00 for my three small suitcases. I purchased two tickets to Philadelphia and I was compelled to pay for all three instead of one.

Criminals are all over! Shame on you MEGABUS!!!!

Stranded in San Fran dead at night w/dead phone !!!

I went to San Francisco, I've used mega bus before to go here, both drop off and pick up for that time was in front of Caltrain station. When i used it this time, drop off was again in front of Caltrain station. On the tickets (email ones) the address is the same for both so obviously, in front of Caltrain station was where i should have waited. Just in case i checked out the side, there was a bus from a different company, but it was a weird place because that was a muni bus stop. Either way, I was there 30mins before depart time(7:15). After 15mins i expected to start seeing some sign of the megabus. Going back and forth back and forth seeing nothing ! My phone was dying cause it was a long day, at first i didn't mind it cause i was about to be on the bus. I checked the map and it told me to look at the muni bus stop area for it. NOTHING. I tried calling the phone number on the site. NOTHING. It was a dead end. I got the business hours, after that it's just done. I killed my phone having to wait in hope of getting customer services cause i couldn't see any indication of where this bus was at. (Later i googled megabus contact and on a complain site was a different number that actually leads you to customer service, one i couldn't find searching the entire site.) The bus was somewhere else hidden who knows where ! Should i know ? no, I'm not familiar with the area, its not my city, a few trips doesn't make me a expert that i can tell you everything. The address was exactly the same on the email, so obviously you should expect the same area of pick up and drop off to help their customers out. The area was no where near where it has been implied to be. And an hr later i see it *** down the street. Which i did look before and couldn't see it at all ! Saw the muni bus coming, which is smaller than a megabus. Megabus is late. You can find many complaints about it, even taking it towards SF in the first place, it was 30mins late to arrive making it more late taking off and getting into a city a hr later than we should have. Meaning, for me, instead of taking the muni like i planned out expecting to be on time. i was forced to pay more money to get a taxi otherwise i never would have made it to my hotel. Anyways back to, i was afraid missing the bus going on a hunt for it when the bus normally stays in the same area. No customer service help ! I couldn't even find their number ! No clear indication of where the bus or it's agents where. That bus is huge, it's not hard to see, so when i looked down the street and see the muni bus coming and can clearly pick out a taxi behind it, how is it i missed this *** bus ?! Cause Megabus sucks with making it clear about their drop off points and pick up points and being on time.

Ok I'm from Indiana and I moved to little rock Arkansas but I used the mega bus to get to little rock I drove to Chicago got on the bus we took off a hour late then the driver drove recklessly made my son which is 7 yr old smash his head really hard against the window then left us stand out in the snow for 7 hrs in memphis

Mega bus suck they got us on the *** bus with no AC almost all of us on the top level has called the megabus number to complain and all you can tell us is send a *** email how r u gonna fix the problem now it's hot and stuffy they never try and give u any back for bad service I pay my hard earned money to ride comfortably not in a sweat box for 4 hours to the next stop y'all need to do better and o yeah train ur drivers to have better customer service don't forget I pay for my ticket not this company. Yes the emergency exit is open this is the only air we can get.

We where told at the last min that we where not going to get dropped off in Baton Rouge would have to ride the bus all the way to New Orleans truly a big inconvenience for me and a lot of other people there were riding this bus that we were not informed that the bus was not going to enter Baton Rouge now I would have to arrange for somebody to pick me up and I have no way of getting to Baton Rouge when I was supposed to be dropped off in Baton Rouge and I think that's sad second the bus from San Antonio to Baton Rouge had no AC working a totally hot ride all the way very very disappointed with this please contact me at 210574****.....email....elcitiaval@***.com

I arrived at a sprint to get on my bus, which was still parked. The megabus attendant would not let me on because of "where it was parked" which was the loading area. As I asked her again to get the driver's attention, the bus drove away. She told me to try greyhound for a later bus. I did, and they were kind enough to give me a discounted rate because of my troubles. Moral of the story--I'm getting a car. I will never use megabus again, or recommend it to anyone.

The most horrible experience i've ever had with transportation is mega bus! I was going from Minneapolis to Chicago. (Departure 10pm-Arrival time 6:25am). At around 1am the headlights of the bus stopped working somewhere in Wisconsin. The *** bus driver called their customer service and they promised to send another bus which was supposed to arrive within 2-3 hours. They never showed up! So we sat till morning. At 7am i told the bus driver to move on since it was morning and she doesn't need headlights, but she made an excuse of "fog". There was sooo little fog that you could see everything around within 600-700ft. And if you look at the cars moving on highway, none of them were using headlights. Right now it's 7:10am, and i don't know for how more long we'll be sitting here. I paid $40 for this *** ride.

Misleading information and delay of more the 7 hours!

I had booked two tickets for going from Amsterdam to Antwerp on the 26th of june. What we experienced was nothing short of a horror-show/nightmare. The bus was supposed to leave at 21:00 in Amsterdam, finally we left Amsterdam at 04:00 THE NEXT DAY! Apparently there was a technical problem with the bus so we were informed a technician was coming. The technician was unable to solve the issue so we were informed another bus was coming, later it turned out that bus was not coming because they could not provide a driver for it. We were given misinformation the whole time. Finally the 27th at 04:00 so this means 7 hours later, another bus arrived which then picked up other customers at all the stops, so no replacement bus was sent, they just stalled and stalled untille they could somehow fit us on another bus that was underbooked!! We were left waiting the whole time on a parking lot without food or drinks and all the time receiving information that was afterwards changed/untrue. This is nothing else then a disgrace!

Our 4pm Friday June 26th, 2015 bus from New York City to Washington, D.C. departed 2 hours late. In addition, our bus driver for that journey stopped at a welcome center in Delaware to announce she had reached her maximum driving hours for the day and would no longer drive the remaining 2 hours to D.C. She told us to wait for another megabus that would supposedly pick us up. She gave no time estimate and left the bus. We called megabus customer service who gave us a 2-3 hour time estimate for the next driver to arrive. After waiting the two hours no driver was in sight and the customer service line was constantly busy. At 11pm we took an über taxi the rest of the way to D.C. for $180. To say this was a horrendous experience is an understatement. It was unethical of the driver to abandon us and for megabus not to arrange an emergency pick up. On Sunday June 28th for our 12 noon bus journey back to New York City we tired boarding an earlier bus (the 11:30am) only to be told to pay an extra $5 per person while all the other standby passengers were allowed to board the bus at no extra cost. This discriminatory practice is unacceptable; if we have to pay an extra $5 per person so should everyone else. We refused to pay and were told to wait for our 12 noon bus, while the other standby passengers were allowed to board at no extra cost. This was a round trip plagued with horrible service and unethical business practices.

I am writing you from the middle of nowhere!!!After freezing off for more then 3 hours because of improperly functioning AC, Megabus NY-DC broke down! The driver just stopped and got out, without announcing any changes. Waiting for another bus to come and pick us up for more then 3 hours...4.20AM...Finally the next bus from NY-DC arrived to rescue!!! But: 1) there was no space for everybody, 2) as soon as we got in they said we need to get out because the driver's shift is over so the bus can not move anywhere!!!4:20AM!!!!50 people out there freezing!!!The driver said it will take 1 hour for another bus to come from DC and to pick us up!!!!Its been almost 3 hours!!!We are in the middle of nowhere still waiting for help!!!I am requesting refund for my tickets as well as coverage for my lost working hours, since instead of getting to DC at 2.15 and being at work at 6:am, I will get to DC at 6:am and be able to be at work not earlier then 11:am. In order to avoid any legal action please consider my request and reply as soon as possible. Thank you

Worst Travel Experience Ever- STL to CHI

The bus pulled in broken down. We waited in the terminal. They said a mechanic would be here in 45-60 minutes. After two hours and no mechanic, I started inquiring about the refund they said I had to wait 2 hours for. No one can tell me how to get a refund and say to call customer service. Not only did customer service talk to me like I was an imbecile, but tells me I've been misinformed and the only way to get a refund is at the destination point, after I electronically file a complaint form. All because their bus was broken. So after waiting the 2 hours and no mechanic showing up, I walked a block to get some food. I come back and the bus is gone. So I'm out that $22 and had to pay $50 for another bus that puts me in Chicago 3 hours after the job interview I was supposed to go to. I will never recommend this service to anyone. I have never been so disregarded by a customer service of a company that wronged me. I am out over $70 and running 5 hours behind schedule. I am deeply upset and disappointed.

every rep I've spoken with has been nothing but rude and keep hanging up in my face. They won't allow me to speak with anyone else other than them and the information they provide is not any help to my situation. I'm extremely unhappy with the all around customer vice that's provided. They insisted on using email they never sent out the code so I couldn't board. They don't want to refund my money and they giving me the run around.

HORRIBLE MEGABUS EMPLOYEE this is not the the first time I've had an encounter with thus guy I take the megabus from Miami to Tampa couple of times a year and a few of those I've encountered this guy a couple of times, it seems he is especially good at making friends since I've seen him screaming and fighting with clients before, this is actually the first time I personally had a problem with this guy, as I get off the car I see him arguing with this lady because he wanted her to buy another ticket for her Carryon bag, he kept saying it was too big and she couldn't take it with her, which it wasn't may I add that the bus was practically empty, and so I waited for this guy to finish arguing to get on the bus but the impressive part was when he finished arguing with her he got in the bus and Locked the door in my face, I later called the bus line to complain and it seems that they have the corporate way to handle unpleased costumers which is that you have to write a comment on their site which they never read, lets hope for both our sakes that I never encounter this driver ever again because if this happens one more time with this same guy in going to seriously take legal action against the company and I am not going to let it go until he's out of a job. I'm also taking the time to look up who to talk to in city government who might be in charge of dealing with transportation companies.
