This is an easy fix for you and others in the same boat. Pull the terms YOU agreed to.

Show them special circumstances, compassion or understanding clause and you're golden.

If the terms YOU agreed to don't have these clauses, you're stuck with credit and a great reminder to always read and UNDERSTAND terms before saying you did. OK...say it...."You must work for them."

RES# AIZABKQ - Technical error with megabus sight when selecting the pickup time and location for the trip. Selected the right time and location but email confirmation had incorrect time and had us being picked up in a different city. Called and was told that we had to call back after 6:30am to reschedule bc that is when the call center opened. Called and was told that since the pickup time was set for 9:25 we have to pay a fee. The guy on the phone was not understanding of the situation and did not help us out. Asked to speak to manager (Ana: 518****), and she just read out the same script the guy before her read to us. We explained it was a technical error on Megabuss sight and they did not care. They said we still had to pay a fee because it wasnt three hours in advance, which we would have if they were open. I work in the customer service industry so I know how a customer should be treated. If there was something we did wrong on our end we would have been okay with the fee.

Hello, I booked a trip for April 5th from NYC to Washington DC. However myself and my travel partner were unable to go due to Covid-19. Bus Chattanooga to Atlanta . NO SHOW .Called over 20 times , no one would help . Was told by Customer Service . I was bothering them . my issue was with myself not with megabus . A bus driver going the other direction told me , he was not interested in my problems , he is only a driver. called Corporate this morning , after stating my problem and that I was stranded , FIRST WORDS NO REFUND , I DON'T CARE IF YOU WERE STRANDED , AND IF YOU SUE US , YOU WON'T WIN . Greyhound for me.

They are nothing but a bunch of SCAMMERS!! I had the EXACT SAME THING happen to me last year during the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Paid for a round trip ticket to/from ATL, and the RETURN BUS DID NOT SHOW UP!!

I had to pay EVEN MORE MONEY to get home, and they REFUSE TO REFUND ME!!! This is their Modus Operandi!

On sept 9 the bus from rensellear station Albany 2:00 pm bus never arrived I was kept being told over and over to wait until 4:30 when I had to go to greyhound to put my son back on a bus to NY. I continue being told by your representatives that they see nothing when I made over 20 calls that day which I am having my phone company provide proof of this. I am enclosing my reservation number and proof of payment

Traveled from NYC to Washington DC on 5pm bus on Oct 13. This is the worst bus ride I have ever taken! The bus had bad shocks and out of balance tires, so I felt every bump on the road and the bus shook so hard that it made my teeth chatter. The rattle was so loud that it was impossible to read or listen to music. The driver touched the brakes about every 10 seconds with a grinding noise each time, and since my seat was sloping slightly down, I would slide down the seat every time. I took a video which I tried posting but was not able! The bus was so bad that I doubt it was even safe. I have traveled all over the world and never had a worse bus ride, even in third world countries. Four and a half hours of *** and I woke up this morning with every muscle in my 77 y/o body sore. Never use Megabus again!

Here is the short version:I booked two tickets from Phila to New York Phila has two pickup locations - 5 minutes apart Although it would have been fine, I booked the less convenient one Called Customer Support they cancelled my tickets and issued credit codes (3 codes in random amounts for two tickets?) I went into rebook ("forgot" to select 2 passengers, but did select my same two seats on both the up and back legs) Plugged in the first code, brought the price down, pluged in the second code brought price down to $0, left wondering about the third code. Finish checkout to realize I only got one ticket Tried booking 2nd ticket but only last code valid now and that left $15 remaining to be paid by card. Called Customer Support but ended up hitting the "Pay" button while waiting for supervisor. Supervisor got on call and reiterated "you screwed up. you've used your codes. can't do anything for you." I hang up $15 poorer. I did book the wrong pickup spot. I did miss selecting 2 passengers. But both of these "situations" should be easily resolved. I do believe the MegaBus website and business model is designed to create situations where customers are cheated out of their money. The web site is horrible - when I first tried booking I ended up with 7 trips, 14 tickets in my cart. I was like WTF is wrong with this!! > Believe it or not, I am pretty competent in browsing, selecting, purchasing - all types of items (goods, travel, financial, banking, uber, rover, etc. etc), all the time. Hundreds of transactions, thousands of dollars each year. MegaBus site sucks [I believe intentionally]. Their service is designed to steer you toward conditions in which you need to fork over more money than you should need to. >

MEGABUS DID NOT PROVIDE A BUS FOR OUR RETURN TRIP, AND DID NOT FULLY REFUND ME FOR THE MONEY I SPENT FOR NEW RETURN TRIP TICKETS: On 30 November 2019, we arrived at the MARTA CIVIC CENTER, ATLANTA, GA. at 7:15am to catch our return bus to VALDOSTA, GA. that was scheduled to depart at 7:45am. When we arrived, THERE WAS NO MEGABUS PRESENT, so we sat where we could see the bus arrive (it would have to drive past us to reach the boarding area) and WAITED, AND WAITED. Finally, at approximately 8:11am AN EMPTY MEGABUS (#M96R) ARRIVED, AND THE BUS SAID "JACKSONVILLE" ON THE HEADER. We asked the driver if it was the BUS GOING TO VALDOSTA, GA., AND WAS TOLD "NO, THIS BUS IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE, IT IS GOING BACK TO THE YARD". THEN IT LEFT WITHOUT PICKING UP ANYONE. TWO (2) MORE MEGABUSES ARRIVED (WITH DIFFERENT BUS NUMBERS) WITHIN 5-10 MINUTES AFTERWARDS, BOTH EMPTY/BOTH DRIVERS CLAIMING THAT THE BUSES WERE "NOT GOING ANYWHERE/GOING BACK TO THE YARD". Why would EMPTY BUSES ARRIVE AT THE MARTA CIVIC CENTER JUST TO RETURN?? That makes ZERO SENSE. Evidently SOMETHING WENT WRONG ON THE MEGABUS END, AND OUR RETURN RESERVATION FOR 30 NOVEMBER 2019 AT 0745 AM WAS NOT HONORED. MY ORIGINAL ROUND TRIP cost only $71.50,and the SEATS WERE RESERVED (SEE TICKET: A I R M T N Q) MY DAUGHTER HAD A SEPARATE RETURN TICKET FOR 30 NOVEMBER 2019, ALSO. The small "credit" was for HER, not ME We BOTH needed to return home BEFORE MONDAY 2 December 2019, so I had to spend additional funds ($126.00) for TWO tickets FOR THE NEXT DAY (Sunday, 1 December 2019)!! TOTAL AMOUNT I SPENT FOR THIS "TRIP" 11/08/2019 -$71.50 (ORIGINAL TRIP PRICE) 12/01/2019 -$60.50 (RETURN TRIP FOR TWO) 12/01/2019 -$65.50 (RETURN TRIP FOR TWO) GRAND TOTAL:: $197.50 - 71.50 _________ $126.00 ONCE WE SPENT MORE MONEY, MEGABUS SHOWED UP ON 1 DECEMBER 2019, AND IT WAS THE EXACT SAME BUS/BUS NUMBER!!!. THE DRIVER EVEN HAD A MANIFEST/LIST THAT SHE CHECKED NAMES/TICKETS OFF!!!! She also made a BIG DISPLAY OF CALLING OUT: "VALDOSTA, THIS BUS IS GOING TO VALDOSTA!!" Whereas, NOTHING was announced AT ALL ON SATURDAY, 30 NOVEMBER 2019 WHILE WE SAT AND WAITED, NOTHING. I am certain that there is CAMERA SURVEILLANCE THAT WILL SUPPORT ALL THAT I HAVE STATED. In Good Faith I paid Megabus for service that I DID NOT RECEIVE UNTIL I PAID EVEN MORE. MEGABUS still owes me $126.00 for the RETURN TRIP TICKETS I was FORCED TO PURCHASE IN ORDER TO GET HOME.ON YOUR NEXT BUS AVAILABLE. THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
