Website unreliable

I had bought 4 round trip tickets to NYC and had to change them for the following weekend. I used my order number as directed, clicks on both trips each way and only the return trip showed up in the Basket. I used my order number again and a screen to me the trip getting there was not available, had to purchase 4 more tickets to get there. When I called a CSR to check on the credit, I was informed the trip to NYC was still there and would not believe that I was not able to access it. I did get redemption tickets, but I would have preferred the website to work correctly and not to have to shell out an extra $100 for a simple ticket exchange. Call a CSR for any changes to ensure effective service and have to have a record of the change.

DISPUTE FOR GETTING A REFUND

no, Megabus has given me the run around. I am too through dealing with them.

I'm hoping to have a Boston based television broadcast company come to my apartment and interview me. I would really like for as many people as possible to know just how they treat consumers and their horrific business practices!e

On 5/7/2019 I had both a heart attack and a stroke. Taken by ambulance to hospital.

Intubated for several days while in ICU.Cardiac unit and then to rehab to learn how to walk, talk and to tie my shoes.One day after discharge I was admitted to another hospital after they found blood clots in both lungs. The next day an ultrasound showed I had clots behind both my knees. I will be on Coumadin( blood thinners) for the rest of my life. Before May 7th I was on Oxygen 24/7 for severe respiratory illness.

I have my medical records. I am disabled living on SSDI (fixed income) t computer illiterate but know some basics. I plan on hiring a private attorney, contacting local newspaper(s) and television stations (Boston area) hoping for them to come to my residence for an interview. I am really angry over the run around I got from Megabus.

Angry enough to spend my last dime if needed for legal assistance.It is not about the $42.49 that they are not willing to refund my credit card company.

This is all about principle regarding the entire package of MegaBus. I will do all I can legally to make sure as many people as possible become aware of practices of MegaBus and how they treat human beings like second class citizens

I BOUGHT 2 TICKETS TO AND FROM BOSTON-MONTPELIER VT AT SEPARATE TIMES. I CONTACTED MEGABUS LESS THAN A COUPLE OF HOURS TO REQUEST A REFUND TO MY CREDIT CARD FOR THE TRIP GOING TO VERMONT. I HAD A RIDE TAKING ME THERE FROM MY APARTMENT IN LYNN,MA. MEGABUS ASKED ME TO CONTACT MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY(CAPITAL ONE) WHO TOLD ME THEY WOULD GIVE ME CREDIT. YESTERDAY I GOT MAIL FROM C/ONE STATING MEGABUS REFUSED TO GIVE A REFUND. I GOT THE RUN AROUND TRYING & TRYING TO SPEAK TO A LIVE HUMAN BEING. AFTER SENDING A LONG MESSAGE TO THE ADDRESS I WAS GIVEN. IT CAME BACK "PERMANENT ERROR" I CALLED MEGABUS TWICE ONLY TO GET THE SAME E-MAIL ADDRESS. AFTER LOOKING ON THEIR SITE, IT SAYS THEY DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS. ALTHOUGH I DID SEE THAT IF YOU REQUEST A REFUND WITHIN 24 HOURS IT IS POPSSIBLE. I DID CONTACT MEGABUS WITHIN 2 HOURS only to be told to contact my credit card company. This purchase was back in July of this year.I am really angry with this company. A few years back I got on a Megabus in Burlington VT. The chair lift was needed for a passenger. The driver could not get the lift to move anymore than 1/2 down. We waited on a rainy day for another bus to take us to Boston. I got home nine hours later. The trip from BUR-BOS is no more than 4 hours! No, nothing from this company ,no we are sorry,no we will give you a 1/2 priced ticket for the future! no, no, nada, zilch, goose egg nothing

Bought the wrong ticket

I bought my ticket going the opposite way—PHI-NYC instead of NYC-PHI. The customer service rep sent me a refund immediately and my problem is 100% rectified. Thanks, Megabus!

On May 16 2018 driver stoped me from boarding the bus for noreason at all.

Traveled from NYC to Washington DC on 5pm bus on Oct 13. This is the worst bus ride I have ever taken! The bus had bad shocks and out of balance tires, so I felt every bump on the road and the bus shook so hard that it made my teeth chatter. The rattle was so loud that it was impossible to read or listen to music. The driver touched the brakes about every 10 seconds with a grinding noise each time, and since my seat was sloping slightly down, I would slide down the seat every time. I took a video which I tried posting but was not able! The bus was so bad that I doubt it was even safe. I have traveled all over the world and never had a worse bus ride, even in third world countries. Four and a half hours of *** and I woke up this morning with every muscle in my 77 y/o body sore. Never use Megabus again!

Horrible Experience!

Customer Service is the worse that I’ve ever seen. They don’t care about you as a customer. They’re late and still will not offer a refund or an apology. I called to speak to a manager and the customer service rep Tino hung up on me twice and once more by a customer service rep named Sharma. 4 phone calls later, I get through to a manager named Marcel who is uncaring as well. Shame on you. This is the face and value of this company. I will definitely be spreading the news and will be using another more responsible and customer service oriented company. My teenage daughter is waiting outside in the cold in another city because of this company as we speak! Corporate needs to take a look at who’s managing your company. 10/11/2019 San Antonio Texas 4:10 pm to Austin, Texas 6:25 pm. It is now 5:55 pm and nobody at MEGABUS has any idea where this bus is!

Uncomfortable

I had a trip on 10/11/19 @ 1:45 from SUNY Albany to NYC. 1) the bus driver didn’t check our tickets 2) the bus was uncomfortable due to the heat being on 3) we all were dropped off at 34th street instead of 27th street with no warning. No one said anything because we all sat in traffic in very warm temperatures so we all needed to get some air.

Sent me an email to rate Megabus and when you click on link it says you completed the survey already

The link to survey says you completed it and I really wanted to comment. I took 2 trips to NY and back to Rochester. The first trip was okay till we got to New Jersey where we had to get a new driver because their time driving was up. We had to wait for a new driver to arrive. Crossing over to Manhattan went okay except for the traffic jam which was not their fault. The trip back was worse. First they have a terrible way of lining people up. I was 7th on line and people kept trying to cut the line and we had to say the line was back there. No Megabus employees were there till almost 11 when the bus was scheduled to leave. Several people stood at the front of the line and said they weren’t cutting the line but wanted to make sure they got a seat. When the employee announced the bus the people who were really on the line first and I went to the door. I got on and sat at the table area on the first level. Not long after the 3 line cutters came to sit at the table. They were kind of loud and slightly obnoxious. The two “adults” had foul mouths despite having a child with them. Then the man started watching movies on his phone without earphones. The wifi wasn't working for the whole trip. We finally got going and then we stopped just over the border to NJ and stopped and the driver left without an explanation at all. Then a new driver arrived and started cleaning the bus and the windows. Then he came over to me where I had one bottle of water and said he needed my bottle of water to wash his face. Seriously? He said he would buy me a bottle at the rest stop which turned out to be hours away. I offered him facial wipes and he said he can’t use them. One of the line cutters had an extra bottle and offered it to him. He did buy them another bottle later. The bus filled up with the smell of window cleaner which made me cough. I asked him about the WiFi and he said sometimes it doesn’t work but he never offered to see if it was even on. Then we made too many rest tops in my opinion. The some got text msgs than we would be late due to traffic. We agreed that it was due to stopping too much. We finally arrived 1 hour and ten minutes late. When we did arrive the people going to Buffalo and Toronto thought we were going to Boston since they didn’t change the sign on the bus that said Boston when we left NYC. They should have staff there in NYC to maintain the line and distribute numbers to people who wait on line so cutters don’t jump in line. I had only carry on and people who have baggage need to go to put in baggage. I think the most important things are keeping the customers organized, maintaining the line, keeping on time, WIFI and that people have head phones, keep quiet on overnight buses as much as possible.

You took stole my money, I I I had to pay two (2) times for the save reservation tier the amount the second time. Could not talk to anybody no one I want my money back. Reservation did not show in emails text no place give me my money

Stolen luggage

I was pulled off bus (headed to Atlanta from Chicago)on 10/6/19 due to an issue I had no control over. I have been actively searching for my luggage since then. I was detained in Indianapolis for a minute and my luggage went to Atlanta. I’m in Atlanta now but my luggage isn’t. I HAVE NO CLOTHES AND I AM ON VACATION. Every time I reach out MEGABUS AND COACH USA tell me 3-5 days for response jus to say another 24-48 hours! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I have had MY PROPERTY FOR A TOTAL OF FIVE(5) DAYS NOW! This has been an inconvenience on a number of levels and YOU SEEM LIKE YOU COULD CARE LESS ABOUT MY MISFORTUNE! I expect a phone call before the close of business TODAY!! Or I will begin legal action against YOU AND ALL COMPANIES IMVOLED 3 THREE BAGSOF LUGGAGE ARE MISSING! (1)Black rectangular luggage on wheels, (1)Grey/red Nautica duffle bag, (1) Black Tommy Hillfigure duffel bag.

They denied the ride

I purchased tickets to go to Chicago for my 16 years old son. Same ride he took before, but this time he was denied in the bus due to his age... the acceptance or denied apparently depends on the person working the shift. They told us to try the 1pm bus.... I just want a refund for this inconvenience. I want both way ride refund. Thank you
